Mitsubishi Dlp Lamp Light Solid Red

I have a 5 year old mitsubishi 65 dlp 1080p set and the bulb was just changed.

Back on it runs for about 2 minutes without displaying a picture or producing sound and then goes back to the constant red light indicator. If i disconnect the ballast the tv comes on with sound then after a few minutes the red. If the light is a constant yellow then the lamp has exceeded its 5 000 hour lifespan and needs to be replaced. That had the constant red light indicator come on.
